Membership Fees

Fitness Membership - $5 per class or $40 per month (payable your first class of the month), plus annual Boxing Ontario Registration Fee of $12.

This membership entitles the member to four classes of instruction. Following that, the member will be entitled to the use of all gym equipment and the participation in all group exercises. One-on-one training is not included in this membership, except for the initial four classes.

Equipment needed –Personal boxing gloves and a skipping rope are recommended, but not mandatory. The Leamington Boxing Academy does have these items available to fitness members, free of charge.

Non-Competition Sport - $370 per year (paid up front), $200 for six months (paid up front), or $60 per month (payable your first class of the month). The full year payment includes the annual Boxing Ontario Registration Fee.

This membership is offered for those looking to learn the finer points of the sport (through continuous skill development), but for those not looking to compete. This member will be entitled to regular one-on-one training throughout the season, as well as the use of all gym equipment and participation in all group exercises. This membership does not offer full contact sparring.

Equipment Needed – Over and above the equipment mentioned above, Non-Competition Members are required to purchase their own skipping rope and bag gloves. Please ask for advice before making your purchases.

Competitor Membership - $500 per year (paid up front). This includes intensive one-on-one instruction, sparring and Boxing Ontario’s boxing license and registration. Boxers are required to get a medical from their doctor once per year. This fee is not covered by the membership fee.

This membership is offered for those looking to compete in the sport of Amateur Boxing. Members will be fully trained for competition. The average training period for boxers before their first match is 6 months to 1 year at the discretion of the coach. This varies depending on the athlete.

Equipment Needed – Over and above the equipment mentioned above, competitive boxers are required to purchase their own skipping rope, bag gloves, mouth guard, head gear and sparring gloves. Other gear is available and recommended, but not mandatory. Please note, the necessary equipment does not have to be purchased all at once. Please ask for advice before making your purchases.

NOTE:
Members will not be allowed to take part in classes until payments are made. No exceptions!

Yearly fees run from January – December. Yearly payments will be adjusted by the month, to reflect the length of the season for the athlete. E.g. – A Competitor Member, joining in July will be charged for a six month season.  The calculation of this would be $500 - $55 (registration) / 2 + $55. Therefore, a six month fee of $277.50 would be required.

Monthly Payments will not be discounted for partial months.
No refunds!
